This privacy policy applies to the Bloomelle app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by Tsimafei Lemeshchanka (collectively, the "Application"). Tsimafei Lemeshchanka is hereby referred to as the "Service Provider".
In short: Bloomelle has no account and no server of its own. Your cycle details and check-in history are stored on your device only. The Application does send usage analytics to Google (Firebase), and these include the energy, focus, and mood ratings from each check-in, but never your period dates or cycle details. It also sends crash reports to Google (Firebase) and subscription data to Adapty, as described below.
Your Cycle Details and Check-ins Stay on Your Device
To work out your cycle phase and daily recommendations, the Application stores the following on your device only:
- The cycle details you enter, such as the start date of your last period, your cycle length, and your goal
- Your daily check-ins (energy, focus, and mood, each rated low, medium, or high, and whether the day's recommendation felt like a good fit) and their dates
- Your reminder settings (whether daily reminders are on, and at what time)
Apart from the check-in ratings included in analytics events (see Third Party Access below), this data is not sent to the Service Provider or to any third party, and none of it is included in crash reports.
The Application does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, or contact details. If you email the Service Provider, your email address and message are used only to reply to you.
Reminders are scheduled as local notifications on your device. They are not sent from a server, and no push-notification token is collected.
Because this data lives in the Application's storage on your device, it may be included in your device's own backups (for example iCloud Backup or Android backup) if you have them turned on. Those backups are handled by Apple or Google under their own terms and your account settings, not by the Service Provider.
You can erase your cycle details, check-ins, and reminder settings at any time with Settings → Delete All Data, which also cancels scheduled reminders. Uninstalling the Application removes its data from your device (copies may remain in device backups you made earlier). On iPhone, the Application also stores a small, non-personal “early user” marker in the iOS Keychain; it contains no personal or cycle data, is not removed by Delete All Data, and can remain on the device after the Application is uninstalled.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Application or its third-party SDKs may use cookies, SDKs, pixels, and similar technologies to support functionality, analytics, or service delivery. Where required by applicable law, the Service Provider will obtain consent before using non-essential tracking technologies.
This Website
Separately from the Bloomelle app described above, this website (the page you are reading) uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand visits and improve the site. This paragraph applies only to the website; what the Application itself sends is described under Third Party Access.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data held by the Service Provider. To exercise these rights, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, contact the Service Provider at tsimafei.lemeshchanka@gmail.com.
Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. To exercise your CCPA/CPRA rights, contact the Service Provider at tsimafei.lemeshchanka@gmail.com.
Third Party Access
The Application uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:
- Google Analytics for Firebase — usage events, such as which screens are opened, whether onboarding was completed, paywall views and subscription events, and settings changes. When you save a check-in, the event includes the energy, focus, and mood levels you chose (low, medium, or high) and whether you rated the day's recommendation a good fit. Firebase also records some events automatically (such as app opens and sessions) and processes an app-instance identifier, device and operating-system information, app version, and approximate location derived from your IP address. Events never include your period dates, cycle length, goal, or the dates of your check-ins.
- Firebase Crashlytics — crash and error reports (stack traces, device model, operating-system version, app version) from release versions of the Application, linked to a random installation identifier generated by the Application, used to find and fix bugs.
- Firebase Remote Config — fetches configuration values for the Application (for example whether to show the rating prompt); this involves your device contacting Google's servers with an app-instance identifier.
Adapty manages in-app subscriptions. It processes a random anonymous installation identifier generated by the Application, your purchase and subscription status and the related App Store or Google Play transaction information, basic device and app information (such as operating-system and app version), and, by default, your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address.
Payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play; the Service Provider never receives your payment card details. The Application does not use advertising identifiers and does not show ads.
The Service Provider may disclose information as required by law, for protection purposes, or with trusted service providers who comply with this policy.
International Data Transfers
The Service Provider or its third-party service providers may transfer personal data to countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, the Service Provider will use appropriate mechanisms, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop further collection of information from your mobile device by uninstalling the Application. To request deletion or withdraw consent, contact tsimafei.lemeshchanka@gmail.com.
Data Retention Policy
- Data you enter in the Application: Kept on your device only, until you delete it or uninstall the Application
- Automatically Collected Data: Retained by the service providers listed above for up to 14 months from collection (Firebase Analytics event data is currently kept for 2 months, Google's default setting, and Firebase Crashlytics crash reports for 90 days), or as set by their own retention policies
- Aggregated and Anonymized Data: Retained indefinitely as it no longer identifies you
- Data required for legal compliance: Retained as long as required by applicable law
Children
The Application is not directed at children and the Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. Cycle dates and check-ins you enter are stored locally on your device only. Contact tsimafei.lemeshchanka@gmail.com if aware of any issue related to children's data.
Security
The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.
Data Breach Notification
If a data breach occurs that affects your personal data, the Service Provider will notify you in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
Changes
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You will be notified of material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy with an effective date. Previous versions are available upon request via tsimafei.lemeshchanka@gmail.com.
