Is my data private?
Your hot flash log, notes, and settings are stored on your device only, and no account is required. The app does send usage analytics to Google (Firebase), which describe which screens and actions are used but never what you log; since version 1.3.0 this no longer includes the intensity or duration of a flash. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How do I log a hot flash?
Tap the "+ Log a Flash" button on the main screen. You can record intensity, duration, triggers, and notes. It takes under 30 seconds.
When do I see my trigger insights?
The Insights screen shows your personal trigger correlations after logging several episodes. The more you log, the more accurate your pattern report becomes.
How do I delete an entry?
Tap any entry in the log to open it in edit mode. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Entry".
What happens if I delete the app?
All your data will be deleted with the app. We recommend exporting your data before uninstalling if you want to keep a record.
Is Flare available on Android?
Currently iOS only. Android is on our roadmap.
